Meet and Eat

The first aim of Meet and Eat is to connect men, to learn cooking skills and share a meal. We know that there are numbers of men, who are alone, who are bereaved, who are carers, who would welcome this chance to improve their cooking skills, to improve their diets and eat more varied and nutritious food.
We know from Bee Friends Soup Lunches that there is something special about sharing a meal and this is enhanced when they, the men, have worked together to make that meal.
The project was piloted in spring and early summer 2024, and the second stage started in autumn 2024 with very positive feedback. The project will continue throughout 2025.

The sessions run monthly, on the first Monday of the month, 10.30 to 12.30 at the Frodsham Community Centre. For 2025, we will be introducing a guest chef each Monday.
All food, tea and coffee are provided free of charge. For more information, contact us on 07765 225423, or email us on meetandeat2024@gmail.com
