Volunteer to Career
We have just opened the application process for our volunteer to career programme, if you or anyone you know might be interested in applying, please forward this email to them.
“Volunteer to Career” programme at Cheshire and Wirral Partnership NHS Foundation Trust (CWP) offers opportunities for volunteers to gain experience in a clinical & nonclinical setting, with certain roles relating particularly to mental health.
This experience will support volunteers to apply for suitable jobs in health and social care or pursue further training as a health care professional.
There are a variety of volunteering roles available as part of the “Volunteer to Career” programme. Each role is for a set period of 6 months, and we will support applicants to identify the most suitable volunteering opportunity for them.
Volunteers taking part in this programme will also be provided with a personalised training and development plan while they are with us, to enable them to gain relevant skills and qualifications to support them to progress further. Please note completing the 6 months of volunteering on this scheme does not guarantee a job, but equips candidates with the skills, knowledge, and confidence to progress with their career ambitions.
For more information, please take a look at the attached the role description, if you would like to apply, please click on the below link which will take you to the Assemble website where you can apply online.
